Materials & Print Expectations

RogueWalls designs are created to feel like large-scale art, not generic wallpaper. Because every order is custom printed, understanding materials, finishes, color, scale, and panel behavior will help you choose the best option for your space.

Wallpaper Material Options

Available materials may vary by collection and production availability, but RogueWalls may offer options such as matte wallpaper, premium wallpaper, peel-and-stick wallpaper, or other specialty finishes.

Matte Wallpaper

A refined finish with low glare and a clean art-forward look. Matte wallpaper is ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, home offices, galleries, and spaces where artwork should feel soft and elevated.

Premium Wallpaper

Premium materials may offer added opacity, durability, texture, or a more substantial feel. These options work well for commercial spaces, hospitality, restaurants, retail environments, and high-traffic interiors.

Peel-and-Stick Wallpaper

Peel-and-stick wallpaper uses an adhesive backing and is designed for easier installation and removal under proper wall conditions. It is best for renters, accent walls, temporary installs, and DIY-friendly spaces.

Color Expectations

Colors on screens can appear different from printed wallpaper. Phones, tablets, laptops, and monitors all display brightness, contrast, and saturation differently. Printed output is also affected by ink, material texture, finish, and room lighting.

Slight color variation is normal and should be expected with any custom printed product.

Street Art Texture & Detail

Many RogueWalls designs include spray effects, layered marks, distressed details, grain, hand-painted texture, and oversized artwork scale. These details are part of the visual character of the design and may reproduce differently depending on size and material.

Scale, Crop & Composition

Artwork may be scaled, cropped, or repositioned to fit selected wall dimensions. A design shown in a room mockup may look different on a wall with different proportions. Narrow walls, very wide walls, doorways, windows, and ceilings can all affect the final composition.

Panel Seams

Large murals are produced in panels. Panel seams are a standard part of mural installation. A careful installer can minimize seam visibility, but seams may still be slightly visible depending on lighting, wall condition, material, and artwork pattern.

Samples Recommended

For large orders, luxury spaces, commercial projects, or color-sensitive interiors, we strongly recommend ordering a sample before purchasing a full mural. Samples help confirm material feel, print detail, color behavior, and finish.

Care Expectations

Care instructions vary by material. In general, avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive scrubbing, direct water exposure, and excessive moisture. Use a soft dry or slightly damp cloth only when appropriate for the selected material.
